Booking flows people actually finish

A booking flow is not one feature, it is a chain of small decisions — service, staff, time, confirmation — and the drop-off compounds at every link. A flow with five screens at 90% completion each only converts about 59% of people end to end.

We start by cutting steps, not styling them: can service and staff selection happen on one screen instead of two? Can available times load without a separate "check availability" click? The fastest flow is the one with the fewest decisions, not the prettiest ones.

Then we protect the steps that remain: clear back navigation, saved progress on refresh, and a confirmation state specific enough that the customer never has to wonder if it actually went through.
