AI features are not a side panel

The easiest way to ship "AI" is a floating chat bubble in the corner. It is also the clearest signal to users that AI was added after the product was already finished, rather than designed into how the product actually works.

We treat generation, suggestion and moderation as states of the existing interface — a draft that appears inline, a suggested edit the user can accept or reject, a confidence indicator next to the result — not a separate tool bolted to the side.

The test we apply: if you removed the AI feature, would a normal user notice a hole in the product, or just an empty button? If it is the second one, it was never really integrated.
